Our History
Stand Consulting Engineers was formed by Stuart Tappin in 2007 to provide structural engineering expertise on new and historic buildings. The practice has over 25 years of design experience in the UK and overseas.
Our Approach
We pride ourself on our use of hand sketching to explore simple solutions to complicated problems. Our extensive knowledge of how buildings were built in the past, and are built today, enables us to ask the right questions; an important first step in getting to the best structural solution for each project.
Our Home
We are based in the Grade II listed Brunswick Centre and have been since we started in 2007. Stuart has lived in the building since 2000 and helped to get the building listed shortly afterwards.
